how am i feeling today? daily self check-in questions pt3

I am so proud of myself for making it this far lol. & thank YOU for reading.

Let's proceed.. :-)

11. Did I make time for something I enjoy today?

Joy and pleasure are essential in everyone's life. I said what I said.

It could be a hobby, time with loved ones, reading, or simply watching a show that makes you laugh.

Yes, some joy and pleasures can come with a price tag but do it within your means. There's always a cheaper alternative that can cut cost 50% or more. You will pay the other 50% in a thing they call "effort".

12. Am I being kind to myself today?

Self-compassion is a cornerstone of good self-care. This question encourages you to reflect on whether you've been gentle with yourself, avoiding self-criticism or unrealistic expectations. We should all have grace with ourselves but the key is to remember not to misuse it.

  • Taking YOURSELF for granted.

  • Unfilled promises.

  • Shoulda, coulda, woulda, kind of a thing.

13. What would make me feel more balanced today?

Adjust and setting a balance is personal and necessary. Too much of anything can tip energetic scales (not scientifically proven).

You may need to adjust your schedule, let go of perfectionism, or focus on your emotional well-being. This question can help you pinpoint actions to achieve balance.

  • Is it your diet?

  • Finances?

  • The time you spend working for someone else versus the time you spend working on yourself.

14. Have I taken breaks today to avoid burnout?

Continuous work without breaks can lead to stress and exhaustion. Asking this question helps you check if you’ve allowed yourself moments to pause and refresh. Switching up the task at hand can assist in the act of a mental break. Maybe, turning on a quick episode of a favorite show. Scrolling on social media, building connections and sharing love. Or, set a timer for a quick sit-still moment.

15. What can I let go of today to feel more at ease?

Letting go of unnecessary stress, clutter, or mental burden can feel like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders. It helps you to release what no longer serves you, creating more space for calm.

Calmness of the mind.
Calmness of the body.
Calmness of the soul.
